This is the latest update as shown on the site.

Update: Saturday 13th March 2010

Today we joined hundreds of runners to take part in a 10km run in Hyde Park to support the work of the charity 'Missing People' (
'Miles for Missing People' is the first of what will now be an annual event.

Doesn't say much about their efforts to keep everyone in the picture being dated 13 March and now 7 weeks old!   Why also is there never any information about what the "detectives" hired by the McCanns are doing?   Surely they should be pushing out any information that could be useful in the efforts to find this litle girl?   Or is it that they are just on one great big "jolly" around Europe and the World at the expense of all those good people who have contributed millions to the Maddie Fund?

Why is there suddenly an apparent reduction in publicity and effort by the McCanns - is it a case of letting the whole thing gradually slide out of the limelight and disappear into the ether never to be returned to the light of day?   Is it an attempt to lull the public into forgetfulness and hope that they themselves will move into obscurity and everyone will forget they left their chldren alone and unprotected on that fateful day of 3rd May 2007?

It is about time we saw some positive contribution from the "detectives" even if only to justify the money being spent on any endeavours they may be making.

Hewlett would have been the perfect patsy and I believe he was the plan..and maybe still will be.

The McCanns want a review and not the case to be reopened...reopen the case, the finger points straight back at them. Now a review, British police can find something PJ 'Missed'...evidence possibly of an intruder...

Missing Madeleine parents want to reopen inquiry
(AFP) – 3 hours ago

LISBON — The parents of British girl Madeleine McCann, who disappeared in Portugal almost three years ago, will ask police to reopen the case to follow new leads, they said in an interview published on Saturday.

"We are going to ask for the reopening of the case. This is what we have come to do in Portugal," the father Gerry McCann told the weekly Expresso.

Private detectives working for the McCanns have "identified a new line of investigation", Gerry McCann said, "the trails leads to other trails and we have to convince the police to follow them".

Madeleine McCann disappeared from her family's apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007, a few days before her fourth birthday.

After a 14-month investigation, Portuguese police decided to shelve the inquiry.
