HOW LONG MORE ?

We watched the Crimewatch program on BBC TV last night (28/11/13) and were quite surprised at an obvious faux pas by the Police Representative on the Madeleine McCann case!

When talking about the future collaboration between the Met and the Portuguese Police he commented that it would be a great help to solving the Madeleine case in the WEEKS AND MONTHS TO COME!  What a fantastic (not) display of confidence, and no doubt a real boost for the McCann parents, knowing that they are unlikely to see closure for some time to come.

Unlike Queen Victoria, we are sure that many people are "Not amused!", particularly at the enormous expense the investigation is racking up.  Our guess is that the weekly cost must be between 50 and £100,000, if not more, and looks like continuing for ever if recent and current progress is an indication of the efforts so far.

If everyone were honest with their opinion, we don't think anyone (apart from the McCanns) are expecting to find Madeleine either dead or alive.

The parents are at fault - the end!

because they left their children un supervised its only natural that something bad will happen - really

Change the record, you seriously have nothing better to do than post hate trash, try to remember the parents lost their 3 year old, they were not to blame, who expects their child to be snatched at night

That is one of the nice things about this Blog, even idiots are allowed to make comments.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and we should all respect each others.
The Parents are to blame and had they been Portuguese, they would have been charged with child neglect and probably faced a prison sentence.
Children can be abducted, abused or murdered at anytime of the day and statistics indicate that in the majority of incidents a person in the family, or close to the family are the perpetrators! Now make a sensible reply if you can.

The only reply I have is that I don't want to follow evidence based on translation issues, it was said all DNA samples found were of the MCcann family but were not enough to prove they came solely from Madeleine, so there is no proof Madeleine died in or around that apartment, Madeleine was seen at 6.30 going to the apartment to bed, I refused to believe a Roman catholic family would in the space of 3 hours cover up their own child's death, keep the body for 3 weeks, rent a car and ditch her like a piece of rubbish, that not only sounds ludicrous to me but inhuman, the family has been in bits for 7 years now nearly and I wish to god the would find Madeleine alive soon, she's 10 and they have missed so much already. I don't wish to call anyone including you any names, it seems pointless and childish, I just people give the parents hastle on top of the hell they are going through already

I refuse to believe that in the space of 3-4hours, as the children were spotted going back to the apartment just before 7 to bed, I refuse to believe that a catholic couple, not only witnessed or killed their own adorable little girl that they had through IVF but they then covered up the death, hiding the body, for 3 weeks before dumping little Madeleines body like garbage, I refuse to believe that. I still pray that Madeleine is alive and well in France hopefully but one day she will escape or be seen, I have 0% belief the parents were involved or any of the friends, and I have the hope she is being kept alive by her captors who planned and stole keys from the hotel in advance to take her, as for insults on here like idiot, I don't see the point of name calling it is not only embarrassing to the case but also petty but I pray to god that this has a happy ending soon

No problem Mark, we all have little mishaps now and then. Both your comments add to the discussion and enable others to think about the happenings, form an opinion, and if they feel like it, make their own contribution.

Someone who leaves three babies (who cried their hearts out the night before) in an unlocked room in a foreign country while they go on the piss with their mates.
Would they have left a thousand pounds on the same bed withbthe doors and windows open?
The whole thing stinks...from top to bottom
